Mission Ethiopia

My name is Dr. Teresa Jones, and I am the proud founder of Growing Relationships Across Communities Everywhere Now (G.R.A.C.E. Now) and co-founder of Ethiopia Youth Impact Academy (E.Y.I.A.), alongside Ephrem Hagos. Through these ministries—and in partnership with Ephrem’s organization, Ethiopia Youth Soccer (EYIA)—I help host annual youth tournaments in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, and participate in two to three mission trips each year.
As a chiropractor, I provide chiropractic care to individuals in need, while our mission team of 10–20 volunteers distributes toothbrushes, toothpaste, mouthwash, and fluoride treatments to the community. In addition to health services, we share the message of Christ through Bible lessons, puppet shows, skits, songs, and joyful worship activities. With nearly 75% of Ethiopia’s population under the age of 25, we must pour love, hope, and faith into their lives—especially in areas deeply affected by poverty.
By reaching the youth through Ethiopia Youth Soccer, we help young people learn teamwork, build trust, and develop goals that shape brighter futures. Our missions have opened doors to serve local schools, churches, villages, and any organization willing to partner with us. One of our most meaningful accomplishments has been helping fund the library in Korah, Ethiopia—a project that allows us to witness firsthand the impact of love, dedication, and community support.
Every mission trip leaves a lasting imprint on my heart and continues to fuel my passion for serving the beautiful people of Ethiopia.

“For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and
you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I
needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me,
I was in prison and you came to visit me.”
-Matthew 25:35-36
Mission News
During my recent mission trips to Ethiopia and Kenya, I have had the privilege of providing ministry support and chiropractic care to children living in the streets and in orphanages—many of whom are in desperate need of love, guidance, and hope.
Each year, Ethiopia Youth Impact Academy brings together compassionate Christians with a shared mission: to uplift and transform the lives of children facing heartbreaking circumstances. While on these trips, we also surprise the children with gifts and a message of renewed hope—something special to remind them that they are seen, valued, and loved.
We invite you to consider contributing a monetary donation to help us continue this mission. Your support allows us to purchase gifts directly while in Ethiopia and Kenya, which is far more cost-effective than shipping items from the United States. By clicking the “Donate” link below, you can play a part in bringing joy to a child’s life.
If you wish to donate physical items or send additional support, please mail them to:

Thank you sincerely for your compassion, support, and generosity.
