Greetings From Dr.Perry

Dear Whole Health family,

I would like to take a moment to say hello to all of you.  Since starting here at Whole Health in May, I have had the opportunity to meet and get to know several of you and figured I’d tell you all a little more about myself.

Originally from Longview, Texas, I was blessed to grow up two loving parents, two older sisters, and a younger brother.  While in high school I ran cross country and track; however, my true passion was hitting the lake after school for a few ski sets with my dad and brother.  My family are big time water and snow skiers so we take any opportunity we can to be on the water or mountain together.

After graduation from high school, I attended Texas A&M University to pursue my passion in the healing arts.  While at A&M, I helped start and run a new campus organization that specialized in working with individuals with intellectual disabilities.  This organization focused on working with these amazing individuals to encourage and included in everyday Special Olympic events as well as in the lives of the college students that surrounded them.  In May of 2013, I graduated from A&M with a degree in Sports Management and Kinesiology along with a minor in Business.

From an early age, I was captivated by the power of the human body and its’ innate ability to express pure health and potential.  During high school and college I shadowed many different health care providers from nurses, physical therapist, and medical doctors to finally a chiropractor.  It was while I was working at the local emergency room in Longview, TX that I found what I truly wanted to do, be a chiropractor.  Growing up my family was always holistic-minded, which is why I believe I was drawn towards chiropractic.  I fell in love with the proactive approach that chiropractors took towards health rather than having to react to an illness or injury that has already occurred.  Thus, upon graduation from A&M, I immediately (and when I say immediately I mean the Monday following my A&M graduation) started chiropractic school at Parker University’s College of Chiropractic in Dallas, TX.

While at Parker, I fell in love with working with both kids and athletes and then decided to pursue certifications with the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA) and sports certifications (CCSP).  In December 2016, I graduated from Parker University with a doctorate in Chiropractic along with a bachelors in Health and Wellness and bachelors in Anatomy.  It is my belief that as a chiropractor,  it is my purpose to be the catalyst that unleashes within you, your innate power to heal, courage to grow, and the potential to thrive.  Specializing in pediatric and sport chiropractic, I utilize neurological based corrective care to serve everyone from pregnant mothers and newborns to teens, athletes, and adults.
As a facilitator of healing, I am excited and honored to serve you all and the greater DFW area through Whole Health Chiropractic.  I look forward to getting to know you and working with you on your way to whole health.
